Jay-Z & U2 New Years Concert

The two music monsters will be performing live @ Las Vegas' Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Casino & Resort on Dec. 31st on part of a 3-day celebration (invite only).  The two acts will perform solo sets as well.  The concert will broadcast live on the Cosmpolitans 65ft marquee that overlooks the Las Vegas Strip.  No word on who will be the opening act for this special event.

Anxious of his new album No Mercy release, VH1 will air their latest edition of Storytellers–featuring the Atlanta rap star T.I. Although recorded months ago when Mercy was still entitled King Uncaged and T.I. was still a free man, the show mostly focuses on the stories behind his biggest hits as well as old cuts he’s hardly performed, rather than even a few songs from his new offering. Days after releasing his "Decoded" book, which hit No. 3 on the New York Times best-sellers list, it is announced that his 40/40 club will be expanding by way of a new deal that will bring the popular venue to airports across the United States. Jay and his partners made a deal with Delaware North Companies to bring the 40/40 Club into up to 20 major U.S. airports. Also reported that the main 40/40 club in New York will close its doors from April to July 2011 for a complete renovation.
